This looks like a really nice car. Am going to the Bedford Autodrome on Tuesday to drive it. Is it much quicker than the old one? Whats it handle like? Do the seats hold you in any better than the old one?

It's a great drive, nicer to drive - performance fantastic as you would expect from a 2.0 litre Turbo engine.but the way it keeps revving round to the limiter is addictive!

Seats are a little soft.but certainly grip you well - you should have loads of fun at bedford

Cheers Dave. Yeah, been to Oulton, Rockingham and the Ring before but not Bedford. Looks like quite a safe circuit. Plenty of run off area. Good place for Skoda to let people loose in their cars I suppose. Will let you know the virdict on Wednesday (going to Ace Cafe that night if the Wife gives a pass out)

Lovely interior, great car.... and the engine provides very linear power. Its not a 'kick in the pants' type of acceleration, and because of that not wildly exciting.
