Tasky from Reading here, signing in and making the customary introduction.  

It was a really good Christmas this year - I was given a car. 2003 Octavia 1.9TDi 130PD in L&K granite trim, to be exact... I'm told they're quite good? :)
I've been on motorcycles for many years and put thousands of miles on various personal and work fleet cars, been a named driver, and each year have serviced/repaired many times the number of cars I've ever driven... But this is actually the first car I've personally owned. I suddenly feel like I'm back to 17.


So yeah, looking forward to sharing my adventures as a new car owner and learning all about it.... especially the being warm and dry part!!

Welcome Tasky :hi: .  The L&K is a rare enough model alright and has a few extra toys you won't find in other models.

Been out conditioning the leather seats and cleaning the dashboard today - The PO was a bricklayer, I believe, so lots of gunk and gak everywhere!
