Engine Cover mounting

Featured Replies

Having just serviced my car I had an issue wit one of the engine cover mounting screw things. So its no good now and the cover isn't fixed down proprerly.

Does anyone know what these are actually called? Part number? Or where I could get a new one?

Remove the front centre undertray nut and captive washer and use that. Although the washer is a little smaller, the assembly is a perfect fit for securing the engine cover.

Replace the missing undertray fixing with a standard M6 nut and separate large washer.

OK, found the number in EKTA. Cover fixing nut and captive washer:

Don't waste time with "Skoda" - your VW dealer will have loads of them (probably mostly on the workshop floor...)
