A couple of questions

Featured Replies

A few months into my vrs ownership and slowly working through issues. Hid's fitted. Cheers Mike. rear speaker replaced after discovering the balance was all to the right! Purge valve changed after a fault popped up. Then popped up again so charcoal cannister changed. Rear boot release working just when it wanted so new switch fitted now working when i decide! Now the next problem. Standard cd player. Plays cd's fine no issues. Takes the disc, no skipping of tracks but once the ignition is turned off on switching back on it then reads cd error and ejects the disc. On reloading the disc it then plays fine. So has anyone got any ideas? And lastly if it's a dirty lense can i unplug the unit without issue? I know they are automatically paired but as i have no code i don't want to chance it.

No worries about the code, it is safely stored in the instrument cluster. So you can take the head unit out, dismantle it to clean, and put it back without needing any code.

If it's the boot mounted changer you are talking about, there is no code for these, just remove and refit.

Hello again Mike. I havnt even loaded a disc in the changer. It's the headunit in the car I'm having issues with. It's only when turning the ignition off then back on again so makes me think it's an electrical fault. However, when you scanned the car for me nothing came up regarding the stereo.
