leaking rear washer pipe

Featured Replies

Our Octavia has a leak in the pipe to the rear washer that puts water into the passenger foot well. Four Circles say that it is too difficult to fix as they would have to take most of the dashboard out. Any ideas on a simpler solution?

Thanks Neil

Haha, very similar to what Skoda dealer did to me. My rear washer pipe leaked in drivers footwell and dealer wanted £300 + to remove the dashboard to fix it. Simple solution is to cut the old pipe in the engine bay and feed another pipe through to join back in wherever you can access the pipes. If its in passenger footwell then it maybe easier to get to as you should be able to remove the glove box easily enough which may give access depending on where the pipe runs, but may still be simpler to run a new bit of pipe.
