The first is a noise coming from the front near side over bumps and any speed humps, don't know what it could be and this early on the fabia's life. The other I have just noticed when the engine is on and you open a door, the exhaust puffs. Does it happen to anyone else?

Hi Pr2two, I'd get the car to your dealer. Any noise from suspension/steering area should be investigated early. Not sure what you mean by the exhaust puffing when you open the door, but it doesn't happen on mine. Opening a door cannot cause the exhaust to puff, so it must just be a sound effect of some kind. Tell you dealer. Good luck!

Please explain the exhaust puffing when door open. Is is sound smoke or both? One thing which should have nothing to do with this unless because of some fault.. some vehicles have for a long time now when going to a vehicle that had been sitting prime the fuel when the drivers door is opened. No key in ignition required.
