Image of paint detailing on new car

Featured Replies

Good stuff!

To those of us with OCD/keen eye/paint knowledge this is far from uncommon.

Of course 99% of the population would never see their cars paint in this light so to speak.

Enjoy the car & the experience of picking up a Detailed car.

cheers

Chris

I feel this is where new cars let themselves down. The lack of swirls are replaced by a poor finish to the clear coat. KDS have an amazing reputation and it just shows how a new car can be improved. It will look amazing for sure. Enjoy buddy!

Unfortunately this is very common, saw a feature on the web about a Porsche that was painted in a special one off finish that had a whole host of issues that weren't supposed to be there as part of the special paint (the cost of which was £k's and not hundreds).

The car was corrected by professionals and if I remember correctly Porsche picked up the bill which was a considerable cost.

Mind you as Porsche are part of VAG there maybe a link there?!

As already said, fortunately yours will be corrected although I would challenge Skoda to see if there is some goodwill available especially as you paid extra for that colour over and above what a normal metallic finish would have been.
