Personally speaking, prison is a non-starter for me, think of the cost burden on the taxpayer to keep him locked up

Locking up an employee/company representative is not a good look for me.......and the visually demeaning court display seems completely prejudicial to his right to be considered innocent until proven otherwise.

The GFC was apparently nothing more than a temporary inconvenience which was ultimately rewarded with bonus increases.

I was listening to someone on the radio discussing Moodys' recent slap on the wrist in the context of the punishment meted out to VW. Moodys were fined 800 odd million dollars for actions which caused a worldwide recession while VW were fined in the region of 4 billion dollars in the US for dodging emissions rules on a few hundred thousand cars. And I doubt anyone in Moodys senior management will be wearing an orange jumpsuit.

What was most scandalous was the taxpayer money used to bail them out and then the guilty doubling down on appalling behaviour by giving them selves bonuses for an improved stock performance ......from a ultra low point caused BY THEM!

No wonder they are mad as hell.
