Price rise after ordering

Featured Replies

Ordered a new Fab 19/1. Noticed that current price for car - 1.4 100bhp has just risen and that offer price- when I ordered - is for cars registered before march 31.

There would seem a chance that my car may be delivered after this date. How do I stand holding the dealer to the agreed price, or am I worrying needlessly?

You should find the answer to your question in the contract you signed.

Quite right. Says they have to notify me in writing, I've then 14 days to cancel or buy. Doesn't mention offers anywhere, so mind put at rest.

I don't see why they should raise your price if the car leaves the factory much before the 31st of March, which will be the case eventually. You will have already signed a contract for whatever said amount, and as such, you've already bought the car at that amount. They will have no right to raise your price after that IF the car would have left the factory before said delivery date.

Basically I reckon that either way you should be able to get it for the price it was when you bought it. Otherwise just say you dont want it. I am sure they will just honour the price.
