Car looking good, I'm sure I saw a red VRS bombing past me near the P'boro services last weekend, you?

Out of interest how much was the alignment?

Cheers. Not guilty of the fly by, not me hahaha.

The alignment check was free & then pay for the adjustments, all round needed sorting on mine & was £100, a lot of money but well worth it, car is much nicer to drive.

Thats a great looking car, love the grille. May i ask which parking sensor kit you used? I am looking at fitting some myself when the weather improves.

Thanks fella, I used a kit like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OEM-Style-Flush-Fit-4-Rear-Reversing-Parking-Sensor-Kit-16-5mm-Audi-VW-BMW-Me/272894370712?hash=item3f89c5a398:g:7rkAAOSwHNxZ6UR- couldn’t find a listing for a skoda kit but this works well enough & looks good, only thin I would say is the hole cutter that came with my kit was a little wonky.

Was hoping today was going to be as nice as yesterday so I could get out & fit the new additions, turns out the weather has had other ideas on that 1..

Nice vrs. Those 20" wheels look crazy on the FL OC2.

Got myself an OC2 FL estate and  have been browsing for inspiration. Love the mods you have done so far.

1. Saw that you could get a painted base with monte carlo-black ring and arrow in multiple Skoda colors Octavia MK3 Original Skoda Emblem INT-Version

Albeit it being for the OC3, I was told that they would also fit the mk2.

Taken from a FB group from his 2017 OC3 vRS.

2. Are those eyebrows legal where you live? Of course the laws are properbly different from Denmark, where I live, but as far as I understand, here in DK, if any of the lights are being covered up it becomes illegal.

Got the evil versions of those eyebrows, still needing them colored to match the color of my car, but they are covering up by positionlights. Is that gonna be problem on your vRS?

Looking forward to seeing the results. Especially the eyebrows.

I would add the black badging, if you look in my project thread (again :D) you will see my car is the same and I have already applied a few things so you can see there if you like the concept or not!

I know, yours is where I got the inspiration for the badges from......... just not sure how they will work with the chrome centre badge or if my ocd will be able to cope!!!!!!! Will keep thinking about it.

Ah yeah fair enough.

As you've probably seen I ended up spraying my badges to the colour of the car!

Another small update today, just got back from having the lower centre section of the front bumper wrapped in 3M satin black to match the main grill, also makes it look more aggressive. Only have a pic of it still in the studio, once we get some better weather I'll get some better pic but for know this is all I've got.

Wrap work was was done by Ben at Ultimate Auto, not sure he would be in a rush to do it again as it was a lot fiddler than he first thought.

I keep coming back to this every few weeks, I really, really like it! What did it cost to have done?

I was originally quoted £100, but because it was so fiddly & the guy doing it wasnt 100% happy with the way it turned out he charged me less. Given the time & space I would remove the bumper & centre grill mask it up & then plasti dip that bit if I was going to do it again.

Thanks for the advice, funnily enough a group I am a part of on facebook for MK2 Octavias had some people asking about this tonight and quite a few recommended plasti dipping over wrapping it :)

The hybrid coating? Either through snowfoam Lance or pressurised bottle, let it dwell for a couple of minutes & then rinse of then dry the car off. Very easy to use & now the only products I will use.
