MK1 2003 53 REG 1.9 TDI ESTATE L & K 5 speed 

 

 

Bought the smaller grey capped solenoid , and bought the right hand side boost soolenoid , * ( with the letter on the end A which has been superceeded to E) 

 

Theres another one to the left hand side of this aswell ! and im still showing a overboost problem ( limp mode ) now and again and scanned shows solenoid , is this the same part as the other ?? ......it has the same number on it but without the letter ?

Overboost is usually sticking vanes in the turbo. There is a how to listing on here for the Mr Muscle clean of the turbo.

Yeah just had a friend data log it and boost dropped off twice and then came back although no limp mode .I changed the pipes for silicone and he said these are thin and carp so will change to better thicker and do same test , if same will do turbo

Will be the turbo vanes 100%.
