Noisy Fan

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I have a very noisy fan, is it worth replacing when doing the AFH conversion, and if so, with what?

Thanks

If i remember correctly when i had the AFH in mine the fan cowling touched the exhaust manifold, so may be worth getting a slimline fan for clearance

Hi there well on my afh I run the deisel rad and fan set up as it's a two stage fan... problem is the looms different from the normal cars it has its own relay and fuses next to battery I just under picked the loom and it connects to the battery and earth's where others are goes down to fan and sensor... gives you more space in front on engine as it sits in side the front panel and clears the egr and moves the rad pipes from the gear box mount.... works a treat... never had the full speed come on but when it's needed it does wack out some pulling air in power....

The fan and rad tucks in nicely.... zoom in and your see just above the starter motor your see the back off the fan....
