yesterday, after washing the car, I noticed I have two small stone chips on the bonnet so I tried searching on the internet for the colour code but found nothing "official".

On the build sticker, "PAINT NO." seems to be "LA7W-8E1Z".

So is your car Silver (Skoda 9156 Paint Code) ?  

 Give the supplier the paint codes as on the car & get the correct touch up.

Yes the car is definitely silver.

So I'll be okay with colour code #9156, right?

You have some kind of sticker near spare wheel, and there is a color code for your car.
