Mk1 workshop manual stuff and tuning guide

Cheers for that, David.

Just a couple of housekeeping points:

1. Several of the pdfs are reported as "broken" by 7zip.  This may be because they've been split across archives but I haven't checked that as yet.

part 2 rar

part 3

part 4

part 5

2. Archive skoda_octavia_mk1_workshop_manuals.part2.zip contains copies of the part1-5.rar archives

Last time I checked they were all good with winrar.

I'll have a look when I get home though

I have checked my downloads with Winrar, and mine are fine. but there is the duplication of files over the five archive volumes.

But to be quite honest, info of this quality is so hard to come by, that having to click "overwrite previous file" is no big deal.

Thanks so much for sharing this stuff it is much appreciated.

Many thanks, sir!!

Yeah thats an old folder !!

I know there's a text file in each archive that list the PDf no's, It's just a case of rummaging and then creating your own fine for your model.

If you have a vRS your good to go as I did that bit for you years ago.

Also a very technical mapping doc which was way above my pay level lol.

  • 1 year later...

Is that archive still available?

- got some vRS door electrics and other stuff to sort out...

thank you - truly appreciated that you've taken the time to make it available again.

I might have a pop at re-mapping - are they bare binaries or are the maps commented / documented?

best

Bare with me I'm rusty on the Mk1

I used to use the nefmoto software to flash the ECU http://www.nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/, the maps were from people on here or from a local guy I know, tried and tested on mine and a few others, worst that happened was a boost pipe popped of an intercooler, not on mine I may add, although that was more than likely due to it being weak in the first place and the extra boost was a little more than it could handle.

I'll add the file to the folder but you'll need to do your own research into loading them as I can't honestly remember how the hell I did it all back then. there's an XDF file in there, got no idea what that does but I think it's needed lol
