How much power

Featured Replies

So I own 2004 model Skoda Octavia 1.9tdi Elegance, have been using it as my secondary car all these years, done about 60,000miles, Skoda has launched various engines with different horsepower, like 1.9tdi with 90hp, 105hp and 110hp too, Is there a way to figure out how much power my Octavia had from factory, I mean there must be a way by engine code or something. need Help with this

Have a look in the spare wheel area for a paper sticker, this will have the engine code on it, or if you have the service folder a copy of the sticker is in that, in the UK the vehicle logbook also gives the engine code as the first three letters of the engine serial number is the code letters

I don't have the owner manual, will check under the spare tyre.

Thanks

You might also find a sticker on the cambelt cover or if you look at the joint between the engine & gearbox the code letters are etched into the engine as shown in this picture
