lane assist function.

I have just bought a new Octavia with "lane assist function."

When I drive at the highway and use the function, holding my hands easy at the steering wheel, I get the message for each 300 meters " you have to take over". If I don´t turn the steering wheel a little, I hear a beep in an few seconds, and the lane assist function switches off. Skoda tell me, that my car is ok ?

CBZB engine from 2012, with original turbo, odometer says 161k miles. Runs quietly and smoothly engine-wise. However, since acquired, the car feels a little less responsive than I might guess it ought to, and isn't as good on fuel economy as hoped. A neighbour with a lot of car experience mentioned at time of purchase that he'd be concerned about the turbo being worn out, on a small capacity TSI with that many miles. I acquired a secondhand turbo with far lower mileage (<60k I think), but

Hi Folks, Octy Mk2 2005 1.9TDi. Glow plug warning light has been coming on randomly for over a year - Skoda dealer has no idea; no fault code on OBD2 scanner. Seemed to coincide with EGR low-flow warning (EGR cleaned) I'm a bit stumped. Any of you worthies had similar issues? Car performance is unaffected and starting has never been an issue, winter or summer.

Morning all, Got a bit of a problem with my 16 Plate tdi VRS. Had a coolant loss issue for a while now, it wouldnt happen all the time, but sometimes when opening the bonnet I would find the coolant tank empty, or the fault would come up on the dash. Ive now confirmed that the coolant only ever empties, after ive had the blowers on inside the car. Hot or cold, it doesnt matter. I also found that it tends to come out of the expansion cap, so it seems to be over pressurising the system. Took it

How do . The cigarette lighter socket has fallen through its housing next to the gear stick and I just cannot pull it back up ! Any suggestions? I use it for my Dashcam . It still works but it is not ideal as I would like it set back in its place . Cheers !

Hello to all you good people! I have a 2015 Octavia 2.0 Tdi Vrs estate/combi that has now 245k kilometers on the dash. I'm thinking about changing the front and rear shocks+springs and all the associated parts. The current ones are still original from the factory and while they passed Mot the ride isn't that great anymore. I'm also installing a new Golf Gti clubsport RARB+links, new bottom&top suspensions arms and track rods in the rear axle. In the front axle i have changed already new
