My long term average display was quite happily ticking over around the 49 mark and then earlier in the week it seemed to throw some sort of wobbler and started changing around almost as quick as the instant fuel consumption display does. Since then it seems to have settled down at around 45 mark. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced similar or if it is just one of those technical glitch things?

Haven't noticed anything odd on mine.

I think it does reset itself after a certain number of miles or 100 hours though, so if it had reset it, the figures would be updated more frequently on that journey as it would be starting from scratch. That's the only logical explanation I can think of, aside from a glitch.

Thanks for the reply,

I've only just recently changed the display to show the long term average rather than speed so I may have noticed this before if I'd always had the display as I have now. Thanks for the explanation.
