It looks like I get the variant of the code that doesn't include remapping as a cause perhaps? The code that includes "check DTC memory". It says that just means theres a fault been recorded in the ECU. 

 

Does this mean it is mapped or is that just a fault?

Could be either, you would normally clear the code and see what happens when you access the engine module again after a brief drive. Has anybody attempted to log any measuring blocks on the engine for you to see what is actually happening at the Lambda probes and the air fuel ratios?.

Not that I know of no. The only other info is from services and MOTs so I assume not. Would that be worth looking into then?

It could save you a lot of cash instead of educated guessing what the fault is.
