Fabia Rear Spoiler pt no. FAA710002

Featured Replies

Has anyone fitted the genuine accessory rear spoiler (part no. FAA710002) to their Fabia?

If so, does anyone have a copy of the Fitting Instructions for it, that they could scan or photograph and send me?

I bought a second hand one from a breakers originally, but they'd warped it getting it off the old tailgate, so I ended up buying a new Genuine Skoda VRS one from http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/FABIA-II/Fabia-II-07-11-original-OEM-RS-roof-spoiler-Skoda-Autoas

Was £114 delivered, took five days to arrive.

You can get the accessory one as in the picture on eBay from Sandifords in Loughborough , but will set you back £164 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skoda-Fabia-Rear-Boot-Spoiler-Fabia-2007-FAA710002-/321510594709?hash=item4adb865895:g:rZoAAOSwnDZUBvmL

Either way you'll have to get it painted, the VRS one comes in a random colour (mine was red) the accessory one is in primer.

Yeah I've searched loads of breakers yards the ones that have them all been rear ended and are broke there so rare but if buy them you not think there well expensive

What is it about these that would have you remove a standard spoiler to glue this on?

The fins on the top think it would give the vrs a nice finish to it

You can't remove a standard spoiler, it's part of the tailgate, these are bonded to it.

Oh right I didn't realise you couldn't remove the spoiler that's my plan out of the window :crying:

Have a look at a VRS or Monte Carlo and you'll see how they fit over the top of the standard one.
