Issue with 2nd and 6th gear on my 2005 vrs

changes up perfect into 2nd but difficult to select when slowing down unless you go into 1st then drop it into 2nd. I struggle selecting 6th at any time. 

More than likely syncros in the gearbox. Had it in my old one. Maybe resetting the gear linkage might help. 

Cheers was going to try this as it has had a new clutch fitted recently, it's on 118k thought it would of lasted longer

Do the reset, tech may well have cocked them up after the clutch change, the six is sensitive to any linkage misalignment.

Yeah cheers tried this though when I went to lock the lever on the gearbox it seemed to lock down at 11 o'clock not 12 so hopefully I did it right. It's made no difference though I need to go as if I'm goining into 1st then drop down to 2nd. Changes up perfect, still struggling with 6th
