New Yeti DRIVE model spec

Featured Replies

I'd bet good money that when the bod at Skoda said the Yeti has ceased production, they meant exactly that. On here we often refer to it as the 'City' version, but the folk in the Skoda call centre just know it as the Yeti.

The only Yeti shown on the Skoda website now is the Yeti Outdoor. I bet if you called Skoda again and asked if the Yeti Outdoor is still in production, they would confirm that it is.

Head of Sales wants to send his wingman to rip the customer care advisors another rectum methinks.

I visited Simpsons Preston today and they were baffled as they are still taking orders............. That will be because, as we all knew, the Yeti Outdoor is still in production. The one in the showroom did look nice in Jungle Green.

I liked the Jungle Green initially but after seeing many of them in different weather and states of cleanliness we decided we would quickly tire of the "dull" colour so changed our order to Onyx Grey. Personal choice of course but over the years have found that darker colours retain our favour much longer than mid colours.

I must admit, that's the joy of my current Corrida Red, it rarely looks dirty and certainly isn't a dull colour.

Just ordered a SEL Drive in Corrida red on the 17th. My first Yeti was red like this, but have a white one currently. White always looks dirty, it didn't show on the red and the only metallic I like is the green one, but as suggested above will probably not be good in service.

It is the SE and SEL outdoor that have been discontinued and the only available ones are those still in stock. The dealer told me that customers and their demonstrators ordered in that spec were contacted after a certain build date and their orders converted and upgraded to the new drive spec.

Its quite good as most of the extras I had added for my quote on a SEL were now standard in the drive version; except sat nav which I now have to have but is probably not as good as my TomTom fitted into the top box on the dash of my current Yeti.

There is still a lot of misinformation going about. Had a call from Skoda UK in Sheffield today who categorically told me that ALL models had ceased production and that the only new yetis available would be from stock. I told him of the head of UK sales still saying all models would be available until summer but he stuck to his story. I then called Skoda customer services (based in Leeds) to see if they agreed with this stance, but they were of the opinion that you could still order factory built models for (SE Drive & SEL Drive models), although they agreed all other models had been discontinued. I simply don't know who to believe

Check with a Skoda dealer Sales Manager, they can interrogate the system to determine availability.

These are now on the skoda configurator.

Ordered in red a couple of weeks ago,  but now know red and green are discontinued so changed to black.

L&K still available I think.
