just a word of warning if your removing the sound and heat cover off the supercharger .... its an absolute pain in the arse! took me around 5 hours haha!

I have heard its a PITA, does it make much difference?

After removing it I've heard loads more supercharger whine, seems to pull harder and seems to use more supercharger than turbo now maybe it's just a placebo affect as it took me 6 hours  but you can definitely here the supercharger whine now

Did you do it on a ramp?

No mate just trolley jacked the passenger side right up and used an axle stand for safety
