Afternoon all,

About to change the steering wheel control module to a higline for mfsw retrofit. As the module is a new one, not previously installed in a vehicle, how do you code the new module? Does it come with anything on it (software, settings, etc). If not, is it a case of use vcds and code with settings taken from scan of original module? 

Any advice or warnings, greatfully received.

Probably worth adding an autoscan of the vehicle in question.

 

Generally speaking, coding the lcode and adaption channels from the old module is a good starting place. You can then add any extras you've added
