Bought a 2007, 57 Reg hatchback in November and so far I like it, but I have an issue with the air-con which is annoying and wondered if anyone else had this issue and if so what fixed it. The air-con works for about 45 minutes and then just blows cool air. As I work 23 miles from home on most days I get to work before the issue occurs but as with so many journeys there are the inevitable delays and then the issue occurs. If I turn the heater to 'HI' then hot air does flow. Does this sound like a sensor just giving up? Any ideas appreciated.

I thought that was what air-con does?

 

Are you saying it stops giving out heat after 45 minutes???
