Evening all .. the passenger side window dropped when I went to open the window . I'm guessing the regulator has failed ... I've looked at some posts and seems it's a poxy job .. my car is a 53 plate vrs and I'm hoping the carrier is bolted !! 

Anyhow .. is there a way of making the window secure ( as I prob won't be tackling the job of replacing carrier until weekend ?) also has anyone used a replacement from either eBay or ecp with success ??

If you can pull the glass up, the usual option is to tape it.

Once the carrier is off, a length of wood or similar can prop it up.
