Where does your temperature gauge sit when the car is warm?, does it sit at 90 degrees or does it drop while driving?.

Are you sure the code is 17695 rather than 16795?

My gauge drops back down when driving..i will keep an eye on it over the next few days...its not 16795..ive had secondary airflow mapped out...

In which case that code is the n249 is open circuit.

The other code is a good indication your thermostat it getting ready to be pensioned off.

Thanks for your help phil...i think the n249 has been removed..i cant see it..all i can see is a couple of plugs with resisters..i dont know if there part of the sai removal....

What state of tune are you running?, do you have standalone engine management?. Sounds like you have a failed resistor by an educated guess assuming you are not running non standard electrics.

I had my car remapped to stage 1..214bhp with 1.5 bar of boost  about 8 months ago..i had my secondary air flow mapped out at the same time.....I'll get my mate to test the resistor....
