Ford C-Max opinions

Featured Replies

My folks are considering their next Motability car.

They've had a couple of Ford Focus (Ford Foci?) which they have been very happy with, they also like the local Ford dealer.

So they're very likely to go again with Ford. The Focus has become a bit low for my Mum with her bad knees so looking for something taller.

Kuga they like a lot but it is probably too tall (My Mum is about 4' 10" now) so leaves the C-Max.

They are quite keen on it but thought I'd ask if anyone has an opinion or experience of them.

It's possible that there will be other things on the list that might suit (Yeti for one) but they don't want to pay out a big deposit and the convenience of the Ford dealership is a big plus (also they've found it just to be a good dealership in terms of servicing and helpfulness).

TBH an Octy Scout would be just about perfect but it's too good a seller to appear on motability I think.

Have you checked out the current Motability deposits?

The Yeti deposit starts @ £0.00 to a few hundred if you need the DSG & a petrol but not needing to go diesel / AWD.

If they fancy a SEAT Ateca tell them to see Steve Rodger @ SEAT in Dundee.

1.2 2008 - higher riding Pug........oops

If Peugeot take over Vauxhall / Opel then maybe GM will let them have rights to a decent automatic gearbox.

Dad is thinking about the Yeti but put off by the very poor reputation of Specialist Skoda in Dundee. Notsure what he's read or where but he's not keen on going there.

I'll suggest the Seat to him.

He's a little ahead of himself as they need to wait on the list for the next quarter to some out first.

Skoda Specialist Cars  (Dundee.....) part of the John Clark Group greatly improved, honest.

Then just step across the yard and see Steven Rodger in SEAT, wunderba customer service and knowledge, then right next door NISSAN and very good sales staff.

They got their act together.
