Need a Maxi dot cluster fitting

Featured Replies

Hi guys, bought a 2nd hand maxi dot cluster but having trouble finding someone to fit it to my Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo. I'm in county Durham so if anybody can point me in the right direction and not too far from home then much appreciated.

I'm also looking to do the same thing. I'm in Northumberland so it would be good if someone local to us can do it.

There is a guy on team valley from team valley tuning who can code it in. Just make sure it's the right cluster and all numbers match up from your old one

Nice one, I will give him a ring

As said, Team Valley tuning will sort it but it needs to be the right cluster to programme in or it doesn't like it :D

Is it the barcode numbers I need to match up

I'm not sure what needs to match, but it's mainly just for the immobiliser that you get issues.

A 2012 Fabia with a set of maxidot clocks from a 2012 car doesn't mean they will work

basicslly.

Shouldn't make any difference, I've mixed and matched

If he is doing it how a main dealer would do it, then it would and used cluster would also be a non starter too

Why is a used cluster no good?

it was a second hand one that tried to get coded in but didn't work.

Because the dealer system won't allow it, even when i do a used cluster I have to open it up to get round the security.

The dealer system can't change the mileage after 100 miles

So with a brand new blank cluster it would be straight farward?

Yes,

new won't be cheap
