Yeti VCDS Connection issue

Featured Replies

Afternoon, have tried to connect vcds to swmbos yeti but its not happening. Laptop and cable work fine on my O2, vcds is genuine. As its previously been used on O2, is there something that I need to do prior to scanning another vehicle?

As always, any info/advice greatfully received.

No you should be able to swap between cars easily, I always close VCDS down and re-open it between cars, have you done an update lately (new update last week) and tested and saved with the interface plugged in?

Afternoon gizmo, have updated to 17.1.3 so have had to close down/re-connect and start again. Still no joy. Have a message coming up on vcds "Function not supported by the gateway" after doing auto scan as normal.

Found it!! Had a bent pin on the vehicle socket. Disconnect battery, carefully straighten pin, re-connect battery and go again. All is well. I am going to have to find some sort of cover for the socket, and whilst at it, get/make one for the O2 so I don't have to go through this again.

Hi, where can I find the data link connection in my yeti 1200 petrol (2015) please

Look at the headlight switch on the right hand side, and go straight down underneath the dash from there.
