VCDS on android tablet

Featured Replies

Has anyone used vcds on an android tablet?

VCDS is a Windows only program.

Thought so but wondered if it was possible to run a windows emulator and get around it that way.

I run mine on a Linx 1010B tablet & keyboard (running Widowz)

If you buy a HEX-NET interface rather than a HEX-USB+CAN or HEX-V2 it can be used from an android tablet.

True but VCDS-Mobile is not a patch of the full VCDS software.

(neither is it meant to be)

No quick fix, b****r. Will have to stay with current setup unless upgrade to hex net.

Like Gizmo, I run mine on a Linx tablet (8").

it's HEX+CAN (USB) and I use a USB OTG cable with it (costs me less than £1/cable, ordered a handful as they can go bad after a while).

it's marginally slower than my laptop, but it gets the job done.

The tablet itself I got lightly used for £35 off ebay
