My fourth Octavia but first new one, Octavia 3 1.4Tsi SE estate DSG. Really pleased with it the DSG is a absolute delight as is the 1.4 Tsi my previous Octys been Diesel,My only grouch at the moment has been the candle like headlights so have replaced the standard Halogen bulbs with Osram H15 CBI and H7 Night Breaker didn't help coming from a 62 plate L&K 2.0 ltr Hatch probably but that and electric fold mirrors is all that i'm missing.The DSG outweighs those little perks a hundred times over IMO.Bought from Hortons in Lincoln as have all my Skodas I've noticed they sometimes have had complaints on here ( most dealers do at some point) but I can't say I have ever had a problem with them.Anyway back to the car it's in Quartz Grey and so far averaging 45 mpg although to date its only done 600 miles.

Did you think your halogen upgrade was worthwhile?

Hi Gerrycan, Certainly did 100% for a total cost of £70,the original bulbs gave off light power which reminded me of my VW Beetle back in the 1960s which was 6volt!. OK so I might have aged a bit.Admittedly it doesn't turn them in to Zenons but well worth doing and the DRLs are now more white than yellow.
