Brake upgrades

So I know the mk2 octy 312mm conversion is an option and even the mk3 octy vrs 340mm and all the other Audi TT and golf r stuff. But has anyone ever done a 4pot brembo conversion with the 312mm discs. I had the 4 pot monoblock calipers on my abarth and they were epic and there are a few for not bad money on eBay. Mainly Ines from the hot Renault Clio and meganes. Obvs need adaptors but I think they'd be the same size adaptors as the Porsche-vw brembo stuff

Baby Brembos and AP 4 pots from Ibiza / Leon cupras are probably your best bet for an easy life, around £250+ usually though.

So brought the mk2 2012 octy vrs calipers. Absolute bargain from eBay. Are the mk2 discs the Octavia 5x100 fitting or do they need to be 312 discs from golf, Leon family or will some discs fit both

Do the mk2 Octavia calipers carriers fit?

i wasn't sure if they had changed from the mk1

Yea this is the dilemma I am having at the moment. I think the holes are different distances grrrr

Yeah mk2 don't fit where as mk1 do.

Came across this on my mk1 Fabia VRS, much to my annoyance.

Ar5e haha. company I've got them off will accept returns as long as I pay postage.. so that's cool... does no one make an adaptor ?

Not that I'm aware of to be fair. Easier to get the others I think mate

Try creation motorsport on eBay they do loads of adapters

I don't think adaptors are even possible for that design of caliper carrier, it would set the caliper to far off unless you wanted to fit much bigger discs and runs 18" wheels.

I'm gonna have a look when they turn up and if I can make an adaptor  I'll do one and if not I'll get them swapped for some early tt ones

I don't think you can, but if you want to make adaptors I've got some bigger twin pot calipers brand new you can have nice and cheap :D

twin pots off the golf ?

They are pretty similar to R32 type. Here's the link.

Noooooo hahah. Will they line up better then !!

I literally have no idea, I might see what they fit like one day if I don't sell them, im sure they will be better than some second hand octavia single piston calipers if your making adaptors tho ;)
