over heating vrs

Featured Replies

if my turbo was on its way out would my engine overheat? there is oil coming from the i/c by the drivers wheel.

take it back to the supplying dealer and ask them to diagnose.

You shoud check the jubliee clips around the pipework to the intercooler (or you have a split hose). You will find oil in the pipework originating from the oil feed to the turbo bearings. This is normal (unless you are loosing bucket loads). Sounds like you've got a leak which will also result in a loss of boost - is this why you think your turbo has packed up too (from another thread)?
