Write off - or nah?

Oh, a bit more than t-cut and new whoopee cushion. I trust you are OK.

Actual painful neck! (Not dodgy insurance claim painful neck!)

Otherwise ok thanks!

Sorry to see that and glad that you aren't too bad.

From past experience I would suspect write-off as the air bag has gone off. (Sorry)

Write-off could be twisted chassis. Glad you are ok

Doesn't look as bad as the one we had - wasn't a write off (though they did want to write it off without even assessing it):

Ouch. Hope you're Ok. Get treatment for that neck as soon as you can.

Good of you to post and hope you are OK but do see a doctor PDQ.

Hope you are OK, but Ive had/seen much worse repaired. Modern car-o-liner jigs will sort any chassis rail problems, and if its that bad a repair section will be used.

Unless there is body flex it doesn't look too bad, the airbag is steering wheel from the pic (is that the only one that deployed?) and is not really a problem unless you hit the bag hard and there is column damage, the rest is panel work.

My guess is its no where near a write off from the pics, but good luck with what ever happens, and keep us informed, plus get yourself checked out.

Yeah get to the docs or a physio. If you pay for a private physio session, keep the receipt, you'll probably be able to claim it off the other insurers.

Worst thing to do is tense up and not move 'cos it hurts.

You need to keep moving, and if you need painkillers to do so, then take them.

(I'm not a doctor, but that's what I had to do after a significant crash a few years back).

Car - guess it depends on the damage underneath. Just the visible stuff will add up, but I reckon the chassis leg could be bent too. Repairable without a doubt, but whether it's financially viable...
