Shorade arc bumped car - headlight washer cover now not flush

Featured Replies

Took my car into Shorade in Cannock to fix slight damage to door

They returned the car to me with impact damage to bumper. The headlight washer pump was fractured. After repairing scratches and replacing washer pump the cover is now not flush.

I'm going to take the car somewhere else but it seems the type of thing that when there is a problem it is very difficult to fix 100%

If I can't get the cover flush would an option be to somehow disable the headlight washer pump and replace with a bumper that has no cutouts. Thanks

Missed a word now corrected ted

So this 'shorade' damaged your vehicle, have they denied this?

If you replace the bumper without the washer kits Im sure that means your vehicle is no longer compliant with thw current EU directive that the particular type of headlights have to have washers.

'Shorade' should be sorting this, whoever they are.

Stupid question but why are you having to do anything with the car and Shorade aren't putting right the damage they've done?

Amusingly, they seem to be an accident repair centre.

they admit returning the car to me in the showroom with powder on front bumper and scratches underneath when powder was removed. 3 days later i had big leak when using windscreen washer. Skoda informed me headlight washer pump fractured due to impact

They have repaired scratches and replaced headlight washer pump but are happy with the cover not being completey flush
