Hello Folks!

Featured Replies

Just to say hi and introduce myself.

We recently bought a Citigo to replace a Suzuki Swift which was written off in an accident. So far we have been very impressed with this little car, the way it handles the roads around here is great for a small car. A little bit more power to cope with the hills would have been nice, but I guess that would be a drawback of any other small car in this class. The Citigo is our second car and will most likely stay with us for many years, unless EVs come down in price!

Our main car is a Seat Leon ST, so still within the VAG family.

Welcome aboard the good ship Briskoda, I guess everyone would like the Citigo to receive the turboed version of the 3cyl 1 litre engine, that would help!

Well if we are honest, if we wanted a ball of fire we wouldn't have got the citigo! It was a 'duress' purchase after the previous car was written off, so selected more on the deal offered and the wife liking it! I really like the ride over poor surfaces compared to the Suzuki Swift it replaced. So it does everything we ask of it competently, but she struggles a bit with the 10% hill up to our village.

As usual when you join a forum related to a bit of kit, you get ideas for little changes to make things a little bit better. This site is no exception and I'm already planning the variable boot floor, boot carets and VW mud-flaps (the bigger ones).

Enjoying reading up on what folks do with their Citigos and also keeping up to speed on the Octavia. The Octavia was in the running when we got the SEAT Leon, but in the end I preferred the look of the SEAT. Next time round with facelifts and/or new models it may be different.
