Correct 205/45/16 tyres and where to find them for a good price?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. I (hopefully) have managed to get hold of a set of 16 inch Audi TT alloys for a good price. They're going to need a bit of a scrub-up and some new rubber, mind you. What's the correct type of 205/45/16 tyres (speed rating etc) for the Mk1 Fabia? and where can I get a set of four (fitted if possible) for under £150? (I know, tall order) Which of the budget brands are any good? (Nakang?) Many thanks in advance :)

To be frank, I don't think you will get 4 fitted for £150.

Even Landsail tyres are around £50 each

I have just been hunting around for my sons VRS. In the end I bought 2 Maxis for £117 fitted.

Good luck to you though

v rated is high enough for fabias

Not ditch finder and i use them on a Mk2 Fabia vRS.

Michelin own the TIGAR Tyre Factory.

From ATS Fitted at a good price. TIGAR Syneris.

You will not have 'Scrap Disposal' to pay.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I'd completely forgot about Tigar tyres. I bought some for a car I had a few years ago, they were really quite good for the money.......
