The fuel line return from the fuel filter towards the tandem pump is leaking.  Is it an easy job to replace?

Basically I need to change one fuel lines which is leaking.  I need to know what steps are needed for my 1.9tdi pd engine 2001.  Would I need to disconnect baterry or  any  fuses before I take old one off?  Plus anything else.   Any help will be appreciated.
