Monte Carlo alloy wheels

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

just on my way to pick up my yeti Monte Carlo and sorting out GAP etc whilst sat on the train. Might chuck alloy wheel insurance on also but policies exclude any diamond cut wheels. Anyone know if the silver edge of the Monte Carlo (origami) alloy is diamond/laser cut?

thanks

I hadn't realised how long the changeover must take when models are taken off the list?

Monte Carlo has not been available to order for some time now?

Are people still taking delivery of the non-outdoor models as well?

I would like to know if the alternate wheels on the SEL Drive (With the black in the recesses) are diamond cut?

Ordered my Monte Carlo last October on a cheap lease deal. Delays occurred apparently due to production/supply of the alloys wheels.

You should be able to tell when you see them, Usually the black wheels are diamond cut to reveal the Alloy silver and then painted with clear lacquer.

Pretty sure they are indeed diamond cut. The matterhorn wheels certainly are.

They won't offer wheel protection on them because they know that finish won't last.

As an aside - GAP insurance is a waste of money (IMHO).
