Brake Caliper and Wheel hub painting, what colour to go for Octavia Elegance

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

My Calipers and wheel hubs are getting rusty. They were silver coloured. My car is Denim Blue. So what colour do you guys think will go best in contrast of Denim Blue body colour and silver with alloy wheels. I will paint them with brush (no spray) as I am not taking risk of dismantling them. eurocarparts seems sell everything that some one need to colour the caliper just for £20 to £30.

Any advice for colouring the the caliper process will be appreciated as well.

Calipers = Red or even a lime green.

Hubs = Black or Silver.

What floats your boat.

black or silver for both...I use Hammerite smooth.

cheers

Did anyone use E-TECH Caliper paint? How are they? there are many colours available from them.

Haven't used E-TECH but have heard of it! I've used Motip paint in the past & last year used Motip spray paint for my exhaust tips (Heat Resistant) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTIP-BLACK-VHT-AEROSOL-PROFESSIONAL-SPRAY-PAINT-400ml-800-C-/111398319762?hash=item19efdb7692:g:-UoAAMXQlgtS1--P

Here is a list of Motip caliper spray paint.
