Brake fluid change

Featured Replies

Any body know which service should the brake fluid be changed?

car: vrs tdi 14 plate

Brake fluid change at 3 yrs old.

Three years according to the schedule, but plenty of people leave it longer with no problems.

After the first 3 years, then every 2 years after & I wouldn't leave anything to do with brakes past its due course personally, but that is your choice.

+1 for 3years & then every 2 years after that.

I'd not leave it longer, 50 quid to save a life is very cheap

Thanks all.

i agree with all your comments. Car due for its 3 yr service shortly under VWFS so I'll check that this will be done as it's according to schedule.

Anyone else had it done on with the free servicing?

Yep. Mine was included as part of the third free service (which happened at 2 years and 7 months).
