Boot problems

Featured Replies

Hi all. After giving the car a good valet today I can no longer open my boot. Whether using the key fob or pressing the button inside the car it won't release, is this a known issue on the fabia? Could it be down to a drop in voltage on the battery? Any help appreciated ta.

Anyone got any ideas? Could do with being able to open the boot. Cheers.

Unfortunately I only got one key when I bought the car, I haven't changed the battery in it yet. The reason I thought it might be the cars battery itself is because at night when pulling up to a stop the headlights dim also when you get in the car if you don't start it quickly it locks itself & the alarm goes off.

Alternator runs the car once it's started but bad battery could cause a large current draw at low revs, time to take it to the garage mate.

The fob doesn't unlock the boot either by the way.
