Hi All

I had my 06 Fabia vRS serviced at 119k at start of Feb, and have just ticked into 123k and its now saying it wants me to service in 1900 miles. Is that rather short?

Sounds like the previous service light coming on when you have already had it done.

Turn it off yourself making mental note of mileage. A quick search will show you how to turn it off using ignition and reset button on clocks.

Thanks Graffiti. Would turning it off simply reset it or make it go away forever?

Just reset for whatever your service plan is bud. Variable etc.  Obviously it will come on later next time so hence in 4-6 k have it serviced again and dont wait for service light. ( every 6k for me as 10k too long imo ).  You will need it reset at when you reach your 10k or whatever service plan u stick to and that will get u back on track.

 

Pretty sure what im saying is on the right track,  if im wrong later someone will correct me. For now get it off using the method you will find on here.  Ignition depress button 5 seconds and click to right etc
