Quick MOT question

Featured Replies

Morning all

I had my vRS back from a main VAG dealer this week with a list of MOT advisories as long as my arm. I think they were trying to cram every known fault on the list but there was one I had never seen before:

"Front nearside raptor discoloured"

What on earth is a front nearside raptor?!

front nearside repeater???   the indicator repeater maybe??

Repeater does make sense re - discoloured (lens probably)???

But surely a VAG main dealer can spell repeater! :D

Atleast it wasn't your pterodactyl, they can be expensive!

Ah, repeater! That would make sense. there was also an advisory for offside indicator showing white light which makes sense, at least.

I was dreading it might be something similar!

My Independent mechanic always services and pre MOT's my Octavia's before submitting them for MOT and recently changed 3 indicator bulbs because they were showing white.
