Vrs tsi here, gentle driving around town and start stop on, 103-110C usual for me.  Slightly cooler at 70-80 on the motorway, 103-105C.

These Indicated Oil temps being quoted for Petrol TSI engine cars probably show them as having 5w 30 FS Long Life Oil in, (VW504 / 507 00)

if 5w 40 or 0w 40 FS (VW502 00) oil was used then you might find the Oil a few degrees cooler as indicated.

(Cooling oil requires energy & even though oil is a coolant some oils can use have a car using less fuel because the give better cooling and lower running temps.)
