Hi all

 

I'm Abz from the West Midlands just picked up a 2005 Skoda Octavia Laurin & Klement at the weekend, I like the car and plan to keep it even though it has cost me £600 today and still not quite right. I don't normally keep a car for long but this one I plan on keeping.

 

Anyway I've had a look through the forum and it looks a great site with plenty of great advice.

 

I'll find the relevant section to post my questions.

I forgot to mention in my first post it has a DSG 'box, I had the flywheel replaced today, but there's still a vibration when setting off sometimes a heavy vibration sometimes hardly noticeable. The clutch centre that fitted the flywheel say the clutch may need replacing and that 1st and 2nd gear are noisy although I haven't noticed any noise in 1st and 2nd

Hi Jed thanks for the welcome I'm booking it in tomorrow for a dsg oil change at the dealer hopefully that should smooth things out a little. Tomorrow's job new tyres and rear bushes on front lower arms.

 

On a positive note, parking sensor speaker changed, and the rear wiper has started to work all by itself!!
