Problem with stereo/media diaplay

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a problem with my mediadisplay. Sometimes "not always" The display freezes or change the channels all by itself. The modell is 2014 som the standard warenty has expierd. According to Skoda official repair shop there is no updates requierd on this modell yet.

What do you guys think?

Many thanks!

I've heard people say cleaning with methylated spirit can help.

Hi Rusty nuts,

Yes maybe. The problem is mostly in mornings when it is humid or foggy. But will try!

Many thanks for your time

I think there has been a Software update to solve this problem. Don't know if its available in Sweden, might be worth asking your local dealer

Hi,

I asked the lokal dealer today but he said there is no updates that he can se that shuld be done on it. But I know that for Audi VW they sent out to owner så that they need to update. This was abt 1 year a go.  I called the shop that previous owner used but they say that they have not updated it.

I think maybe the skoda dealer that I called only lookt if Skoda group had sent out resently that updates needed to get done!

Can i se with VCDS if it needs updateing from Skoda main computer???
