In my owners manual/service book I have a sticker with lots of codes on it for all the 'extras' and specifications on my car. Anyone have a list of what they all mean?

They are listed in ETKA. I published a list of some of the codes for the Octavia a while ago but can't find any trace of them.

The vehicle data sticker for my 4X4 lists 44 codes but I have a printout for my car from my dealer listing 171! They are useful to have when looking at parts on ETKA - eg you can identify the correct springs for your car by looking for the option code after the part number.

Here's a few decodes for my 4X4:

G34 - HD suspension:front 4X4KOMBI

L50 - front axle weight class: weight range G34: 686-735Kg

8GD - alternator 90A

9W0 - not with telephone preparation

1AT - antilock braking system - abs; electronic diff lock - edl; and electronic stability package - esp

1KE - disk brakes 232X9mm rear

QG1 - extended service interval

J1L - Battery 280A (60AH)
