DIY car tracking devices

Featured Replies

Been looking into this, and wondering if anyone in here uses one, and if so, how good are they?

There seems to be a plethora of them available on E Bay for around the £30ish mark.

Link to an app on your 'phone or PC presumably.

I have been using this system for approximately 4 years ;

It also monitors your driving as well; driving/braking  too harshly et al.

As a bonus I can always tell if the dealership has carried out a software update as it alarms when it is removed!

As a backup I have 'Tracker 1 of 2' dymo'd on it.

Do I have a second tracker installed......?

Been using a tk103a on my van for a few years now seems ok but if they want to nick your motor they will come with a jammer. The tk103a can be wired into the cars electronics so you can text it to kill the engine they are about £30.
