can anyone sugest a VAG COM lead ie where to get the best one

The "best one" is the genuine Ross Tech item. You can get them on ebay though the first one I had diddnt work.

I got my usb one from virtualvillage on ebay, works perfectly, after using my Triumph cable for a while.

I got one from them after seeing a couple of others on here had bought from them without problems

I bought the USB lead with the full support for the newer CAN stuff, and a built-in license, official purchase and all that stuff, works perfectly

Sure it's not the cheapest option though for me the time not spent getting things to work was worth it alone
